Residential 

JPD Architecture has extensive experience in residential projects producing creative solutions for clients whether it is a new build project, conversion and refurbishment or extending existing residential buildings. From conception to successful conclusion of the project the working relationship with our clients is paramount. When dealing with residential projects our objective is to resolve our client's problems and provide the best solutions in altering or remodelling their residence whilst taking in to account lifestyle, budget and feasibility to create the optimum living accommodation. The practices experience is wide ranging in terms of dealing with alterations to residential buildings which are Grade 1 and Grade 2 listed through to creating innovative contemporary design which incorporate economic energy saving design options. JPD Architecture has a portfolio of impressive bespoke designed homes from affordable designs to impressive multi-million pound mansions. Commercial 

JPD Architecture have gained experience over many years in varying aspects of Commercial, Retail and Office projects which range from speculative light industrial brown field site projects to prestigious office interior refurbishments, car retail, and light industrial factory buildings. With commercial projects it is paramount that timing is taken in to consideration and it is crucial for businesses to work efficiently and have a smooth transition into the new workplace environment. This often involves design support to advise on space planning in order to optimize the available working space in relation to project costs.

When designing public facing projects, incorporating the client brand image into the design is often as important as design concepts for the working environment. The Practice has produced successful designs for car show rooms, internet cafes in addition to design solutions for the catering outlet industry including public houses, restaurants and wine bars.

Community

With the availability of lottery funding there has been a growth in the rebuilding and refurbishment of community buildings with local parishes. The Practice has experience in supporting Parish council in accessing funding and providing sympathetic and appropriate designs which fit the funding criteria. The practice has experience in providing refurbishment or new build design, which complements the local surroundings whilst providing modern, energy efficient facilities for community use.

Conservation 

JPD Architecture have over a their years of practice been privileged to work on numerous historic buildings ranging from Grade I, Grade II* and Grade II, the portfolio includes property for the Royal Family and foreign Royal Family. We have and continue to work on listed buildings in the South East and home counties area, these involve renovation, refurbishment and alterations of many of our valued historic properties. The main recent project we are currently involved in is the renovation and development of Manor Farm Barn Grade I Listed in Frindsbury Kent, the structure when renovated is the longest remaining Medieval Oak framed barn structure in England, the Barn was the principal Tythe Barn to Rochester Cathedral dating back to c. 1400.  Many of the historic buildings we have been involved with have been carried out in close liaison with English Heritage, Crown Estates and The Church Commisioners. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience in this field particularly with historic building methods and the use of traditional building materials.

 

Project Management

 

JPD Architecture UK Ltd. offer project management services for the construction stage of  client’s projects as a supporting service following the design stage, this service provide guidance and organisation of the construction of the client’s project, this involves the appointment of the professional team and specialist consultants and the coordination of contractors during the construction process. We are involved in joint management projects where we have teamed up with Costplan Services Ltd. this joint management offers construction managed solutions to construction where the client does not wish to employ a main contractor to construct their project. As part of this package we organise the appointment of trade contractors and procurement of materials.
